This semester in Portugal is my third semester as an Erasmus joint master. Along with my master's program classmate September, I created a documentary animation in a small village in southern Portugal. In October, I went back to Lisbon to try some experimental stop-motion animation and animation workshops in installation art, experimenting with projection techniques that put animation in space. This semester, I took part in a bunch of different workshops organized by schools for production, learning a lot about cameras and using animation as both a visual and auditory medium, and I did some rough sound editing for my animation. At the same time, I also learned to use Storyboard Pro as an animation tool for animatics in two-person animations. This semester was pretty short, and with the pressure of graduating in the third semester, I didn’t really have time to fully enjoy the Atlantic sea breeze and winter sunshine in Portugal. I hope I get the chance to live in Portugal properly someday. The place has a lively vibe, but rent in Lisbon is way too expensive.

葡萄牙的这个学期,是我erusmus joint master的第三个学期，和项目一起我和我的硕士项目同学九月一起在葡萄牙南部小村子里创作了一个纪录片动画，10月回里斯本我尝试了一些实验性定格动画，和装置艺术中的动画工作坊，尝试了把动画放在空间中去的投影技术，这学期我参加了很多学校开设的为制片准备的不同工作坊，学习到了很多关于镜头下新的知识，和动画作为视听媒介，听觉的部分，为自己的动画进行了声音的粗剪。同时也学习使用storyboard pro作为animatic二位动画工具，这学期时间很短，加上第三学期的毕业制片压力，没时间好好享受大西洋的海风和葡萄牙冬天的阳光，希望之后有机会再去葡萄牙好好生活下，这里很有生活气息，但里斯本的房租太贵了。
